Property Management
O’Mahony Property specialise in the letting and management of both residential and commercial properties. We give advice if needed on getting your property market ready, whether that be an apartment, a family home, student accommodation or a commercial unit. We act as a professional liaison between landlords and tenants, helping with marketing your property and sourcing reliable tenants. Our dedicated management team will ensure your property maximises its full rental potential.
We provide a ‘no obligation’ review of your property including a recommended rental valuation. We advise/ recommend the most suitable way to present your property to achieve maximum rent and have a professional maintenance team available to deal with repairs in a timely fashion.
We vet potential tenants whom must then provide references, which are checked thoroughly and confirmed prior to the signing of lease agreements. A security deposit and a months’ rent is collected in advance. We prepare detailed lease agreements. We arrange for meter readings for electricity and gas (where applicable) and transfer these utilities into the name of the tenant. We collect the rent promptly when due. We conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure details of the lease agreement are being adhered to. We register all properties with the RTB.

Gerry O’Mahony brings over three decades of expertise in both the financial and property sectors to his role as Director at O’Mahony Property. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1976, before founding O’Mahony Insurance and O’Mahony Auctioneers in 1993, businesses that earned a strong reputation for trust, reliability, and local market knowledge.
A seasoned professional and member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV), Gerry has long been a respected figure in the property industry. Now working alongside his son Ronan, Gerry continues to share his deep insight and experience, helping to guide the next generation while upholding the values of integrity and client-focused service that have defined his career.
